Centered around the “Belt and Road Initiative” and requirements of talents in Guangdong - Hong Kong - Macao Greater Bay Area, GCUT promotes internationalization of higher education in an active way, thus establishing cooperation with more than 60 high-level universities in over 10 countries (including the United States, Canada, Britain, Australia, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Spain, Malaysia, Russia and South Korea ) as well as Macao and Taiwan regions of China. In this way, GCUT provides opportunities of exchanges and further education in a multilevel, wide-ranging and high-level way outside China’s mainland for teachers and students. Furthermore, it offers scholarship for international exchanges to encourage outstanding students to take an active part in international exchanges and pursue further education in global well-known universities.

GCUT hired experts from countries including the United States, Australia, Britain, Spain, Japan, Pakistan for teaching professional courses such as big data and artificial intelligence, computer engineering, accounting, international business. Moreover, academic outstanding guests from home and abroad were invited to be GCUT’s visiting professors, including economist from the European Union, president of the International Association for Intercultural Communication Studies (IAICS) and president of International Calligraphy Federation of the United Nations Department of Global Communications with the purpose of cultivating internationalized talents with global perspectives and competitiveness through improving their intercultural communication competence and interpersonal skills

GCUT provides several test centers for English proficiency tests including Business English Certificate (BEC), English Test for International Communication (ETIC) and China Accreditation Test for Translators and Interpreters (international), aiming to serve its students and individuals from neighboring areas.
